Bears have been working hard this month on learning physical feats of skill, practicing our entertainment for tonight's pack meeting and getting to know a little about our families and the past.

We have also helped our new scouts complete their requirements for Bobcat. Congratulations Peter and Joseph.

The Bear Den had a very busy end of July and beginning of August. We had 2 boys attend Family Camp at Grandma Randall's where we went fishing, wading in the Creek, ate s'mores and just hung out with friends.

Then we had 6 boys attend Cub Adventureland at Camp Gerber. What a blast that was for everyone. We sang songs, played games, did A LOT of hiking and hill climbing and even improved our BB and Archery skills. We can't wait to attend Webelos Adventureland next year.

Finally, we had 6 boys attend Day Camp @ Dwight Lydell park. We had fun there as well with the fishing, science, making our own paper, learning new games, and of course, the water station. What a great time.

We look forward to a fun-filled year as Bears and had a great first meeting where we helped our new Tiger friends and our new Bear den member, Peter, begin working on their Bobcat requirements.
